Perched on the hillside above Positano, Casa Laura is perfectly located for exploring one of the Amalfi Coast’s best-loved towns. Gaze out from the terrace over the pastel-hued houses that climb the hillside, and across to the glittering water. Positano’s main beach is just 10 minutes away on foot, and all the main amenities of the town, including restaurants, shops and travel connections, are close by.
A flight of 42 steps leads from the road to the villa and directly onto the terrace. Whilst exclusive to Casa Laura, the terrace is also used by the people on the top floor of the house (private accommodation) to access their property. The terrace has wonderful sea views and is furnished with a table and chairs for alfresco dining, and a bench.
Extending over 123m², the villa is equipped with air conditioning and welcome extras such as mosquito nets in the bedroom. On the lower level, a living/dining room provides sofa seating, a dining table for six and a large-screen TV. From here, an archway leads into a well-equipped kitchen, with plenty of storage space and everything you need to prepare a delicious Italian lunch!

Working with the host was wonderful. They were always responsive and willing to work with us with anything. Oana met us at the steps when we arrived to show us how to get in and around the place. She was always available promptly via text. The steps see more

She was always available promptly via text. The steps were as described- about 50, and that was the best number out of all 20 of us that stayed at various locations. The area of Fornillo is amazing and felt more local than down by the beach. The place is walking distance to everything with a great view. The apartment is on the older side but was clean and was perfect for us for a long weekend in Positano.

We had such a nice stay in Positano! My review of the rental is mixed. We were there over Spring Break in Italy so we expected to pay more because of the Holiday. I will say the house was a little run down for the price, the first floor interior is a little stuffy, and the patio in the picture is big enough to *squeeze* 4 adults onto for dinner. Please keep in mind I haven’t stayed anywhere else in Positano so I don’t know if that’s the norm! If you don’t have experience with induction stoves like us, you will probably have a hard time turning it on! The second floor with bedrooms was beautiful and full of natural light. The contact for the rental was super helpful and responsive. We had a few questions about appliances and trash and we were never left wondering. We were met at the port, and given clear directions to our rental. The customer service here was a 10 out 10.

Sun-kissed Casa Paradisea sits in an enviable position in Positano, with unparalleled sea views. Spread over two floors, with 140m² of floor space, it sleeps up to 8 people.
Entering the house, you descend a couple of steps into the kitchen where you’ll find a gas hob, double sink, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, and a separate wood-topped unit which doubles up as a kitchen island.
Continuing into the light-filled house, past a bedroom and bathroom, you reach the lovely bright living room. Alongside an attractive fireplace, the room is furnished with a wooden dining table with chairs, sofa, sideboard and a television. From here, French windows lead directly on to the terrace where you can dine al fresco enjoying the magnificent sea view.

Set in the very heart of the enchanting town of Positano, the apartment is close to shops, bars and restaurants and less than 1km (about 20 minutes’ walk – including stairs) from a selection of beaches.
