Direct sea access, private pool and a magical location at the furthest end of the Sorrento peninsula makes Villa del Sole a very special place to stay.

Situated just 500 m from the charming village of Marina della Lobra and around 1 km from the centre of Massa Lubrense, Villa del Sole is a dream villa if you prefer to be slightly off-the-beaten track.

The area consists of several hamlets connected by narrow roads that wind between ancient farms and olive and lemon groves. The coastline is made up of small bays with sparkling clear water, incorporating the Natural Marine Reserve of Punta Campanella. Nearby Sorrento (4 km), which is busier and more touristy, provides a livelier contrast.

The spacious villa (250 m²) is set right on the seafront, with steps down to a public area where you have use of two sun loungers and four deck chairs. Entrance to the villa is on the ground floor which comprises a large living room with a dining table for 8, chairs, a sofa, TV and air conditioning/heating. This leads through to the well-equipped kitchen (with washing machine, dishwasher and fridge-freezer) and, via French windows, on to the first furnished terrace, which provides spectacular views of the sea and Capri. Stairs (15 steps each) lead down to floors -1 and -2, which have their own sea view terrace with a table and chairs. On one of the terraces of the -2 floor there is an above ground pool for 4 people, open from April till October.

Skip past Positano and Sorrento and head for Massa Lubrense on the far tip of the Sorrento peninsula where you’ll enjoy an altogether slower, less touristy experience as well as some of the most exquisite bays in the region. This is an area where hillside slopes awash with lemon-planted terraces and olive groves give way to a landscape crisscrossed by ancient mule tracks and reveal breathtaking views over the sparkling blue ocean.
At Villa Marti, you’re perfectly placed for visits to the beaches and villages on both the north and south coast of the peninsula.

Massa Lubrense town is just 1.5km away and Sorrento, Positano and the iconic towns and villages of the Amalfi Coast are easily accessible by bus.

Decorated in a simple, contemporary style, with dazzling turquoise ceramic flooring, the villa extends over 3 floors, offering 300m² of living space. The entrance is on the upper floor, with the lowest floor at sea level.

Here, you have direct access to the sea and San Montano beach, a private concrete terrace shared by the local residents. Sunbeds and chairs are provided for use on the terrace. One parking place is included in the rental.

A bright, airy living room provides ample space to relax. Furnished with large comfy sofas and armchairs, and a dining table for six for those cooler evenings, the room leads directly out via floor to ceiling French windows to a covered outdoor terrace. Sheltered from the heat of the sun during the hottest months of the year, this is an idyllic spot to relax and enjoy al fresco meals with views of the sea. A large blind provides additional shade if needed. At the other end of the living room, a broad archway leads directly into the spacious fully equipped kitchen.

The master bedroom on floor -1 is a highlight of the property, leading out to a stunning terrace with heavenly views, a relaxation area and a small plunge pool.
