Is it possible to holiday on the Amalfi Coast without the crowds? The answer is a definite yes at Villa Terri, set on the road between Massa Lubrense and the beach at the pretty fishing village of Marina della Lobra. You’ll find bars and restaurants in both places, and only 5km separating the villa and Sorrento, but if you enjoy pocket-sized beaches and hilltop hamlets connected by ancient mule tracks, this is the place for you.
Access the villa (400m²), through an electric gate followed by a steeply descending 300m private lane. Spend your days lounging on sofas and sun beds around the pool (5.50 x 6.50 square meters and from 1.20 to 2.20 meters deep, open from April to the end of October), admiring the extraordinary views across the Gulf of Naples and Capri, or wander down to the beach along a private path (100 steps) and on to a waterfront footpath.
The ground floor features an expansive open-plan living space with huge panoramic windows overlooking the terrace. Furniture includes a sofa, single sofa bed and armchairs in the lounge area, and a dining table and chairs for 12. There’s ample space for everyone, including a well-equipped kitchen, and a separate laundry room and guest bathroom (bathroom 1) with sink, toilet and bidet.

The local restaurants are many and fantastic.
Of course, there is that hill to climb to get to the road, but 3 days in and you can feel the benefit to your core! If you have trouble with your balancesight this is maybe not for you. |

We loved the views and the convenience of the Marina. There we found restaurants and a small store. We booked a Capri boat tour and it left from the local marina. There is also a Sita bus stop at the marina which was easy to get to. The villa was see more

There is also a Sita bus stop at the marina which was easy to get to. The villa was spacious and we all had plenty of room. The balcony was perfect for family gatherings for dinner and drinks. The location was quiet and relaxing. The air conditioning worked great. Our concierge, Giada was great! Responded quickly to all of our needs and helped arrange a driver to Path of the Gods. Teresa, the housekeeper is also great!! She helped with everything, from showing us how to use the dishwasher to repairing a broken shower head! Their service was excellent. We loved that we could have a service take our luggage back up the steep driveway! Totally worth it!

We had absolutely the best time here in Massa Lubrense. It was the best weekend many of us have ever experienced and being right outside of sorrento in a quiet town was really nice. We especially enjoyed the proximity to the marina where our boat tousee more

We especially enjoyed the proximity to the marina where our boat tour left from. Alfonso was also incredibly responsive and helpful with organizing check in and rides to sorrento. It is in an amazing location right on the water where swimming is available. It is a steep walk/drive down the hill however so best for able bodied people!

The walk down from the road to the Villa is quite steep, recommend to book the luggage service. The Villa was very helpful with transfers and we found this was the most affordable option for exploring the coast. Our agent was also very helpful with activities and advice prior to arrival. Be sure to bring plenty of toilet paper for larger groups and cash for deposit and cleaning fee, which they requested up front. Thanks for a great, memorable stay!

The walkway was long and steep, but that's how most of the properties are in this area. The Villa was very beautiful with a stunning view of the sea and walking distance to 2 restaurants. I wish some of the trees were trimmed a bit so the view would see more

The villa is located midway down the hill side so there is a steep walk down from the road and then a further walk down from the villa to a path by the sea which takes you to a gorgeous quiet marina with lovely restaurants with views over the water. Anyone with mobility issues may struggle. The villa was spacious and equipped with everything we needed for a great holiday.

Imagine starting your day with breakfast outdoors, spending the afternoon beside the pool and gathering together in the evening around a large dining table while authentic Neapolitan pizza is prepared in the wood-fired oven.
Villa Caruso is a welcoming home designed for sharing special moments with family and friends. It is located in the heart of Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi, a charming village on the Sorrento Peninsula where you can experience the authentic atmosphere of the area and easily walk to cafés, restaurants, pizzerias, ice cream parlours, supermarkets and the bus stop for Sorrento and Positano.
The villa accommodates up to 12 guests and provides plenty of space to spend time together without sacrificing privacy. Its 250 m² of interior space is divided into two independent apartments, offering a total of six double bedrooms and four bathrooms. The 800 m² of outdoor space includes a private swimming pool, gardens, terraces and a spacious outdoor dining area.
Thanks to its central location, a car is not necessary. Guests arriving by car can use a complimentary reserved parking space located approximately 400 metres from the property. Advance notice is required so that the owner can reserve the space before arrival.
Outdoor Areas: Swimming Pool, Garden and Outdoor Kitchen
The garden is the heart of Villa Caruso, a space to enjoy throughout the day, from leisurely breakfasts in the morning to dinners beneath the stars.
Here you will find a large dining table for 12 guests, a barbecue and an outdoor kitchen equipped with a sink and a 4-burner gas hob. This area also features a sofa, a small table and a traditional wood-fired pizza oven.
The pizza oven may only be used in the presence of the villa’s pizzaiolo and must be requested in advance. Private dinners and cooking classes can also be arranged directly at the villa. External chefs and catering services are not permitted.
The owner also runs a restaurant and pizzeria located a short distance from the villa. Guests can dine at the restaurant or, with advance notice, request food delivery directly to the property.
Approximately 10 steps lead from the garden to the private swimming pool, which is surrounded by a terrace and an additional garden area.
The pool measures 7 × 5 metres, is 1.50 metres deep and is open from 1 April to 31 October. The pool area is furnished with sun loungers and a parasol and also features an outdoor shower. Pool towels are provided.

Villa Caruso comprises two independent apartments, making it particularly suitable for several families or groups of friends who wish to enjoy their holiday together while retaining a greater degree of privacy and independence.
The apartments are arranged over two levels and are connected externally by a private pathway and approximately 10 steps.

The upper-floor apartment is accessed from the road by climbing 6 small steps.
This level also features a sun terrace, a peaceful corner where guests can sunbathe, read a book or simply relax.
